These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Laser247 (the “Platform”). By creating an account, depositing funds, placing a bet, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
To use the Platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction of residence if higher.
- Be legally permitted to engage in betting activities in your jurisdiction of residence. You are responsible for confirming that your use of the Platform is lawful where you are located.
- Have full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
- Not be self-excluded, voluntarily or otherwise, from gambling activities.
- Not be a public official, regulator, or employee of any organisation with which a betting account would create a conflict of interest.
The Platform is not available to residents of jurisdictions where online betting is prohibited by law. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are not accessing it from such a jurisdiction.
2. Account Registration
Accounts are created through the Platform’s WhatsApp signup flow. The account holder is solely responsible for the accuracy of all information provided during signup and for keeping the account details current.
Each individual is permitted to hold one (1) account on the Platform. Multiple accounts created by the same individual will be closed, with balances voided in the secondary accounts. The “individual” determination is based on identifying details including but not limited to name, date of birth, address, payment methods, and device identifiers.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including username, password, and any associated WhatsApp number. You agree to notify Customer Support immediately upon discovering any unauthorised access to your account.
The Platform is for personal use only. Accounts cannot be created for or used by third parties. The use of an account by anyone other than the registered account holder is a material breach of these Terms and will result in account closure and forfeiture of any balance.
3. KYC and Identity Verification
Identity verification (“KYC”) is required at certain thresholds of activity, as detailed on the Deposit and Withdrawal page.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete identity documents on request, including but not limited to PAN card, government-issued photo identification, address proof, and, where requested, video verification.
The Platform reserves the right to verify any information provided at any time. You agree to cooperate with verification requests promptly. Failure to provide requested verification, or the provision of false or misleading information, will result in suspension of your account and may result in permanent closure with forfeiture of any balance.
The Platform also reserves the right to request additional verification at any time for the purposes of preventing fraud, complying with regulatory requirements, or addressing concerns about responsible gambling.
4. Deposits and Withdrawals
Deposits and withdrawals are processed through the payment methods made available on the Platform from time to time.
All deposits must be funded from a payment source registered in the name of the account holder. Third-party deposits are prohibited and will be refunded, with any associated processing delays at your own cost.
Withdrawals are processed to the same payment method as the original deposit by default. Switching withdrawal destinations is permitted subject to a verification step.
Minimum deposit, minimum withdrawal, and maximum withdrawal limits are published on the Deposit and Withdrawal page and may be amended from time to time. The Platform reserves the right to apply additional limits to specific accounts where required for compliance, risk management, or responsible gambling reasons.
Funds deposited to your account must be used for the purpose of betting on the Platform. The Platform is not a banking service, payment service, or remittance service, and accounts cannot be used for purposes other than betting.
The Platform applies enhanced verification to withdrawals above specified thresholds, including but not limited to additional document verification and video verification calls. Processing windows may be extended for such withdrawals.
The Platform reserves the right to delay or refuse withdrawal requests in the event of:
- Pending verification requirements.
- Suspected fraudulent activity or breach of these Terms.
- Compliance with anti-money-laundering or counter-terrorism financing obligations.
- Lawful requests from regulators, courts, or law enforcement.
5. Betting Rules
The Platform operates a peer-to-peer betting exchange. Bets are matched between users, with the Platform acting as an intermediary and not as a counterparty.
Bets are accepted only after being matched against an opposing bet at the same price. Unmatched portions of bets remain in the order book until matched, until cancelled by you, or until the market closes — whichever occurs first.
A bet, once matched, is binding. Bets cannot be cancelled or amended after matching, except in cases of obvious error (as defined below) or where these Terms specifically provide.
Obvious error means a clear and material discrepancy between the Platform’s stated price and the price that would reasonably have been offered, where the error was due to a technical fault, human error in setting up the market, or similar cause. In the event of an obvious error, the Platform may void affected bets and refund matched stakes. The Platform’s determination of whether an obvious error has occurred is final.
Voiding of bets. The Platform may void a bet or a market in the event of:
- Match abandonment, where the result cannot be determined.
- A change in match conditions material to the bet (for example, change of venue, change of format).
- Suspected match-fixing or other corruption affecting the integrity of the event.
- Errors in market setup or settlement.
- Force majeure or other circumstances beyond the Platform’s reasonable control.
Voided bets are settled at odds of 1.00 (stake refunded). Specific voiding rules for individual sports and markets are published with the markets themselves.
Settlement. Markets are settled based on the official result published by the relevant governing body or, where no such official result exists, on the basis of reputable independent sources. Once a market is settled, the settlement is final except where an obvious error is subsequently identified within a reasonable period.
Maximum payouts. The Platform may apply maximum payout limits to individual markets. Maximum payouts are published with the markets themselves where they apply.
6. Commission
The Platform charges a commission on net winnings, calculated as a percentage of winning positions only. The default commission rate is 5%. Reduced rates may apply to accounts that meet specified volume thresholds.
Commission is deducted at settlement and is shown on the bet slip before bet placement.
Commission rates may be amended from time to time. Material changes will be notified to account holders with reasonable advance notice.
7. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are prohibited and constitute material breach of these Terms.
- Creation of multiple accounts by the same individual.
- Use of another person’s account or sharing of account credentials.
- Provision of false or misleading information during signup or verification.
- Use of the Platform by individuals under 18 years of age.
- Use of the Platform in a jurisdiction where it is not legally permitted.
- Use of the Platform for money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other illegal purpose.
- Collusion with other users to manipulate market prices or outcomes.
- Use of automated betting tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform without express written authorisation.
- Use of techniques that exploit software bugs, glitches, or unintended platform behaviours.
- Betting on events in which you have insider information or a position that creates a conflict of interest, including events you participate in or have a financial interest in.
- Any conduct that compromises the integrity or fair operation of the Platform.
The Platform reserves the right to suspend or close any account engaged in prohibited activity, void any associated bets, retain any associated balances pending investigation, and report the activity to relevant authorities.
8. Account Suspension and Closure
The Platform may suspend or close your account at its sole discretion in the event of:
- Breach of these Terms.
- Suspected fraudulent activity.
- Failure to complete verification.
- A regulatory or legal requirement to do so.
- Inactive accounts (no login for an extended period, as defined in the Privacy Policy).
Where suspension is the result of suspected breach, the Platform may withhold the balance during the investigation. Where breach is confirmed, any winnings derived from the breach may be voided. Balances unrelated to the breach will be returned to the original payment source after the investigation concludes.
You may close your account at any time by contacting Customer Support. Existing balance will be returned to the original payment source, subject to standard verification requirements.
Closure of an account does not relieve either party of obligations accrued before closure, including without limitation the Platform’s data retention obligations under the Privacy Policy.
9. Bonus Terms
Promotional bonuses, free bets, deposit matches, and similar offers (“Bonuses”) are subject to specific terms published with each offer.
General principles applying to all Bonuses:
- Bonuses are credited at the Platform’s discretion and may be withdrawn at any time before they are used.
- Bonus funds may carry wagering requirements that must be met before associated winnings can be withdrawn.
- Bonuses are personal to the account holder and cannot be transferred.
- Abuse of Bonuses, including but not limited to attempting to exploit Bonuses across multiple accounts, will result in forfeiture of the Bonus and any associated winnings.
10. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including all software, text, graphics, designs, trademarks, and other content, is the property of Laser247 or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of any part of the Platform without express written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Laser247 and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates are not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
- Losses arising from system outages, technical errors, or other interruptions of service.
- Losses arising from third-party services, including payment processors and KYC verification providers.
- Losses arising from your own betting decisions, however influenced.
- Losses arising from your failure to secure your account credentials.
Where liability cannot be limited under applicable law, the Platform’s maximum aggregate liability to you is limited to the lesser of (a) the amount of your account balance at the time the liability arises, or (b) the amount of commission paid by you to the Platform in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Laser247 and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claim, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Platform in violation of applicable law.
13. Changes to These Terms
The Platform may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to account holders through the WhatsApp thread tied to the account, with at least thirty days’ advance notice before the changes take effect, except where shorter notice is required by law or where the change is in your favour.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of amended Terms constitutes acceptance of the amendments. If you do not accept the amended Terms, you should close your account before the effective date.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Platform’s operating entity is incorporated, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction of residence apply.
Disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform should first be raised with Customer Support, then escalated through the supervisor review process described on the Customer Support page. If a dispute cannot be resolved through internal processes, it may be referred to arbitration in accordance with the rules in effect at the time the dispute is referred.
Nothing in this section limits your right to pursue remedies through regulatory or consumer protection authorities in your jurisdiction of residence, where such remedies are available under applicable law.
15. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. The unenforceable provision will be replaced with an enforceable provision that comes closest to expressing the intention of the original.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any specific terms attached to individual products or promotions, constitute the entire agreement between you and Laser247 regarding your use of the Platform, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings on the same subject.
